OUR PURPOSE

Music has a vital role in the worship service. Our purpose is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage souls in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship service.

The atmosphere is set by the Ministry of Music and prepares one’s heart, for the Word. Our Music Ministry allows members of its choir and praise teams to develop and grow spiritually by committing their time and talents to the will of God.

The Music Ministry provides worship music for assigned church worship services and special services outside of the church.

OUR MISSION

The H.M.B.C. Music Ministry has various outlets whose mission is to enhance its worship experience, as well as combine and discipline our praise to reach the heart of God effectively in praise. Our music style includes Hymns, Traditional Gospel, Contemporary Gospel as well as Praise and Worship forums.

Opportunities in the Music Ministry include: Mass Choir, Youth Choir (Kids for Christ), Women’s Choir, Men’s Chorus, Praise Team and Church Band.

Although we are many members, we strive to be One Sound that encourages a unified Praise.
